About
Student. Part-time physics, philosophy, machine learning, history, astronomy, photograph, and the occasional overengineered idea. Drawn to equations, arguments, cameras, coffee, and machines that promise to think before anyone has agreed on what thinking is.
Pseudo-nihilist. Everything borrowed, everything passing; even the self only a brief arrangement of wind, dust, and questionable timing. Comet cross the sky on a clock longer than civilizations: here before our first departure, back long after our last goodbye. And yet some child, child of children, will still look up. No grand script, no guaranteed meaning, no universe eager to explain itself — only the old human business of making value out of noise, error, and unfinished drafts.
Believer in small states, sparse populations, and the civilizing power of leaving people alone. The world's long tides, cruel dialectics, strange habit of turning defeat into memory and memory into civilization. A dynasty may lose its horses and keep its poems. A failed age may become someone else’s inheritance. Empires rise, theories advance, banners change hands. Old roads, cold drums, steps grow moss, poems stay behind, annoyingly alive. The past deserves judgment, the present deserves suspicion, and the future deserves more than another magnificent excuse. Progress may be real. Necessity may have its hour. But an ordinary breath remains a poor thing to spend casually.
Strong opinions, weak sleep. Carries a deck of cards, never joins the game. Unreasonably loyal to luosifen, scallions, and cilantro.
