First principles as a bad habit

The pleasant thing about first principles is that they make a mess look negotiable. A terminal, a network, a derivation, or a small physical model all invite the same posture: isolate the moving parts, name the invariants, and then find the place where the system quietly lies.

That is the technical side of this website. It is not trying to become a documentation warehouse. It is a place for notes that still have their fingerprints on them: physics, software, AI, protocols, and the occasional bit of organized trouble.

The archive should stay warm

Code wants precision, but a personal archive also needs weather. The goal is to keep technical writing legible without sanding off the human reasons for caring about it.
